The second vineyard is the Montgomery Vineyard in Calistoga and gives the wine more of the delicious dark fruit aroma,while the palate is full bodied and with a perfectly balanced acid- tannin profile. The 20 month barrel aging in French Oak barrels (67% new) gives the wine a toasty and complex aroma that deserves a long cellaring. 800 cases produced." -Winery
