Deep purple-crimson; has revelled in the growing conditions of '12, the colour excellent, the bouquet full of cassis, the palate simply adding to an already bountiful parcel; blackcurrant teams with black olive fruit, notes of licorice and tar, and ripe tannins on the finish; oak is somewhere in the mix, but not obvious. Terrific value.
