"60% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Merlot and 10% Cab Franc. Purple color with a nice concentration of red fruit aromas. Flavors are pronounced with blackberries and blackcurrants. Beautiful texture spicy full bodied and moderate tannins. A real treat with center cut pork chops drizzled with a balsamic reduction and lamb shank served with risotto." Winery Tasting Notes
“This wine has an entrancing cedar, wild hedgerow, smoke-tinged nose. The palate is quite chewy on the entry, with dense and fine tannins. There are notes of blackberry, tobacco and touch of moka and licorice. Open Chateau Perron 2 hours prior consumption, and drink it with red meat, or strong cheeses. You can wait 8 to 10 years as well for to serve it with poultries, games or finest cheeses.”
