The 2010 Duque D'A Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from one of the highest altitude Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in Chile. There is a showy aroma of crème de cassis, floral, very open and exuberant. The palate is full-bodied with abundant earthy tannins, showing more soil and a lot less exuberant than the nose. This is a more serious Cabernet showing origin. 3,200 bottles produced.

92 James Suckling -

"A fruit-forward style of cabernet from Chile, yet it remains fresh and lively with pretty acid and tannin balance. Full body, fine tannins and a tangy finish. A high altitude wine from the Burgundy genius Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, Francois Massoc and Pedro Parra. Give it two or three years to come together. Better in 2018."
