The 2013 Bolgheri Superiore Dedicato A Walter is a pure and strict interpretation of Cabernet Franc, a grape that shows amazing potential on the sunny Tuscan Coast. This wine is aged slowly in new barrique for 18 months. It's impossible not to notice the power and the heft of this wine. The bouquet is layered and deep with spice, dark fruit and road paving. The finish is profound and deeply textured. Hold off drinking this Cabernet Franc for another five years to allow it more time to complete its evolution.
