"A magnificent wine coming from 50 yr old vines from La Barraca Vineyard in Torrelavit. A vineyard at 400 meters of elevation with a southeastern exposure farmed organically without any irrigation nor plowing. The wine is aged in French oak for 16 months and then bottled from the cask without fining or filtration. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it proffers aromas of sandalwood, pencil lead, espresso, licorice, roasted herbs, and assorted black fruits. Dense and layered on the palate. This great wine can age for many years to come"
