"Birgit Pfneiszl grows this wine on the slate and sandstone hills just west of Lake Fertö (better known as Neusiedlersee across the border in Austria). Ujra Együtt (meaning “together again”) is a nod to the family’s reunification with the vineyards her grandparents left behind when they fled to Austria, where the family still makes wines under the name Pfneisl (no z). This is farmed organically and vinified in stainless steel without added yeasts. It’s a lean, graceful kékfrankos, the tart cherry fruit taking on freshness as it sits in the glass, and a cool, stony minerality giving it length and firmness." Reviewed June, 2015
