Fine grained tannins and an enveloping personality help render this utterly irresistible, compelling the next sip before a long finish can even run its course. Expect delight and as usual extraordinary value from this cuvee through at least 2020."

Solicitous 2011, he opined, was quite the opposite. Unfortunately, it was a 2011s that performed problematically this year, a rare occurrence chez Tribouley. In 2012, interestingly, Tribouley reports that his wines kicked-into malo-lactic transformation while still working through their sugar, and both processes were completed earlier than usual."
