Dark, powerful and incisive, the Summitvine is bursting at the seams with firm Diamond Mountain tannins that support a dark, brooding core of fruit. This intense, muscular Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with personality, but it is going to require more than a little patience. The 2010 continued to improve dramatically over the time I followed it. The Summitvine is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2029."
