"Somewhat curiously this is even more elegant than the Ech with its cool but ripe and layered dark berry fruit and earth aromas that display a top note of spice. There is excellent volume to the lush, indeed even opulent broad-shouldered flavors that possess obvious power and intensity before culminating in a seriously long and only mildly austere finish where the wood is noticeable if not intrusive. This will probably drink well young for the appellation."
