"Deep ruby-red. Dark raspberry and spices on the nose. Juicy flavors of cherry and spice are complicated by an element of smoky minerality. Finishes strong and ripe. The crop level here was just 18 hectoliters per hectare, according to Forey, as these very old vines were still affected by the severe frost of December 2009.
