From the Critics:
- "The 2012 Botani Sparkling Muscat is Spain's answer to a Moscato from Northern Italy. The first sparkler made in Malaga, it has 5% alcohol, beautiful, fresh bubbles that give uplift and precision to the flowery, exotic perfume, and a good bit of residual sugar. However, the acidity balances out the sugar, resulting in a big, crisp, sparkling fruit cocktail that consumers will adore. The price is a steal."
"This pioneering project of the Ordonez family in Malaga reflects the visionary aspects of Jorge Ordonez and his family. Jorge Ordonez and his sister, Victoria, are behind this project, but one should not discount the influence and consulting work of Gerhart Kracher, a member of Austria's well-known Kracher family. These amazing wines must be tasted to be believed." (11/13) -
- "Green-tinged straw. Highly perfumed aromas of honeydew, peach and white flowers, with a spicy overtone. Lithe, penetrating melon and white peach flavors show very good clarity and expand with aeration. At once fleshy and precise, finishing with strong punch and a refreshingly bitter jolt of orange pith." (10/13) -
