"This comes from a region about an hour southwest of Naoussa that had fallen off the wine map until Yannis Boutari (of Kir Yianni) lent a hand to his two friends (dio fili), Georgia Gkoutziamani and John Polyzou; they produced their first vintage in 2007. It’s intensely cherried, sour and bright, with tobacco scents and mastika spice that leave it feeling cool and fresh.
