"The 2008 Extra-Brut Cuvée Orizeaux (Pinot Noir) is another gorgeous wine. Dark red berries, licorice, menthol and hazelnut all flesh out in a striking Champagne endowed with tons of balance and class. The rich, broad shoulders of Pinot Noir come through on the deep, resonant finish. All the elements are in the right place. The Cuvée Orizeaux emerges from a parcel planted in 1958 and was done in neutral oak barrels. This bottle was disgorged in July 2013. Dosage was 3 grams/liter."
