"The inherent elegance of the 2011 vintage is very much on display with the lovely ’11 Volnay “Santenots” from Maison Jadot. The deep and quite beautiful nose wafts from the glass in a blend of plums, black cherries, cocoa, woodsmoke, fresh herbs, dark soil tones and a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and plush on the attack, with a fine core, lovely soil inflection and great elegance for a young Santenots on the long and ripely tannic finish. Another stellar Jadot 2011 Volnay. 2019-2040+."
