"The 2011 Jadot Clos Vougeot is absolutely stellar. The very deep and vibrant nose wafts from the glass in a blaze of red and black cherries, venison, espresso, bonfires, beautifully complex minerality, herb tones and a judicious base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and properly reserved in personality, with a rock solid core, ripe, well- integrated tannins and superb length and grip on the very energetic and classy finish. This too could very well be a match for the outstanding 2010 version here! 2025-2075."
