2009 Herdade Do Sobroso Tinto
"The stunning 2009 Tinto is composed of 30% Aragonez, 30% Trincadeira, 20% Alfrocheiro and 20% Alicante Bouschet, all hand-harvested and aged in 80% old French oak and 20% tank, and bottled unfiltered. Its dense purple color is followed by notes of camphor, forest floor, sweet creme de cassis, new saddle leather and roasted meats. This complex, textured, full-bodied, distinctive, rich, long wine should drink well for 5-8 years. If this is an example of how good these Portuguese reds can be, consumers are in for a treat." (12/12) - 90 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

2007 Marques De Grinon Rincon
"The 2007 El Rincon is a blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Garnacha from the Aldea del Fresno and El Rincon vineyards. It has an ebullient bouquet of macerated dark cherries, soy and creme de cassis that carry the oak extremely well. The palate is medium-bodied with silky smooth tannins. It is very refined and focused with a lilting, fresh finish of strawberry and red cherries. Drink now-2018." - 91 Pts Neal Martin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

2009 Pujanza Pujanza
"Grip and finesse, a red wine with spark. In the nose aromas of fine fruits dominate tinged with well ripened and balsamic notes. Fresh, balanced, tasty and expressive, with nerve and persistence." (Translated) - 95 Pts Andres Proensa

2010 Pyren Cabernet Broken Quartz
"Bright crimson-purple. The bouquet is very fragrant and pure, but underlines the question posed by the low alcohol: will the flavours be ripe? Well, it's on the cusp, but has so many good things going for it that it must get the benefit of the doubt. It is beautifully detailed, pure and harmonious, finishing with those dusty/earthy tannins unique to cabernet. Give it some time, as much as you can, up to 10 years." - 94 Pts James Halliday - Australian Wine Companion

2010 Four Vines Maverick Zinfandel Amador
"Dark ruby color. Rich aromas of berry pie a la mode, chocolate mint, and cherry creme brulee with a supple, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a hint of herbs, eucalyptus and spiced cranberry on the long, fine tannin finish. Very classy and well made; serve with veal chops." - 91 Pts Tastings.com (Beverage Testing Institute)

2009 - Quinta De Pancas Reserva Lisboa
"This is beautiful, with smooth, polished tannins and a spice note from the wood aging. It is layered with black plum, chocolate and licorice flavors, along with structure. The fruit is rich and likely to come forward in the next 3-4 years. CELLAR SELECTION. -R.V." - 93 Pts Wine Enthusiast
