"The 2011 Simon Bize les Guettes is another great wine in the making, offering up a very classy and vibrant bouquet of cherries, quince, strawberries, dark soil tones, gamebirds and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very transparent, with a great core of fruit, fine-grained tannins and outstanding length and grip on the beautifully focused finish. I love the combination here of the red fruity side of the vintage and the dark soil tones of Guettes- a very rare and exciting combination! This will be a great wine as well. 2022-2050+."
