"Here too the reduction is strong enough to mask what appears to be very ripe fruit. There is by contrast good freshness and punch to the beautifully detailed, robust and powerful middle weight flavors that possess a textured, precise and well-balanced finish where a touch of austerity is in evidence. This is the biggest wine in the range though as is typically the case, certainly not the most refined."
