"Our 2010 vineyard designate Chardonnay comes from the well - known Stuhlmuller Estate, located at the convergence of the Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, and Chalk Hill (RRV) appellations. This fruit was harvested in the early morning of Oct. 2., who le cluster pressed to tank and cold settled. This Chardonnay was fermented in stainless steel (57%) and concrete egg (43%), aged sur lie and did not undergo malolactic conversion. Tasting Notes : Aromas of delicate white flowers give way to white peach, f resh citrus, and traces of blanched almonds. The texture is silky and rich with layered high toned citrus, pear and apples. The finish is long, mineral rich and mouthwatering. This an incredible example of a partially concrete fermented new world Chard onnay." -Winery
