"A beautifully complex and fully mature nose features notes of green apple, brioche, citrus and dried rose petal. There is still excellent verve to the ever-so-mildly austere flavors that are supported by a relatively fine effervescence on the crisp and dry finish. This is really very good and a vintage Champagne that is drinking perfectly well now but should easily hold for another decade as there is fine concentration."

"Vivid gold. Heady aromas of poached pear, pit fruits, honey and orange pith, complicated by sweet butter and mineral accents. Lush and expansive on entry, then tighter in the middle, offering intense orchard fruit and candied citrus flavors with suggestions of jasmine, fig and bitter orange. Finishes toasty and very long, with resonating mineral and floral notes."

"This lithe version offers lovely texture and focus, with integrated acidity enlivening the flavors of apple tarte Tatin, raw almond, crystallized honey and beeswax. Lightly chalky on the firm finish. Disgorged July 2010. Drink now through 2025. 80 cases imported."
