In 1789, Jean Barthe first established his vineyards at Naujean Postiac, a hilly landscape in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux. For seven generations, the vineyards were passed from father to son. In 1992, Veronique Barthe, the first daughter in the family since the revolution, inherited the family estate. She devotes all her passion and energy to promote and improve it, guided by its requirements and her personal feminine touch. Vignobles Ph. Barthe stretches over 75 hectares in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers in the communes of Targon, Faleyras, Daignac and Espiet. Vineyard plots are planted on ridges of clay and limestone, in the undulating hills – the key to a great terroir of smoothness and balance. They are mainly facing south. With an average age of 25 years, the vines produce white and red grapes of high quality. "-Producer
