"You can smell the salt of the sea air in this wine, a scent that seasons the tart, pomegranate-toned fruit of the wine with a mouthwatering spice, and draws out a meaty note that makes the flavors last long. It's made by Marie Brigitte Julliard, who farms 50 acres in Patrimonio between the mountains and the sea. Delicious now, it should age well, too."

"The pure Niellucciu Clos Teddi 2012 Patrimonio Rose Tradition represents a superb example of its distinctive genre and appellation as well as a terrific value. Yellow tomato, fig, and kumquat combine here for a refreshing, soul-nourishing cold soup-like melange tinged with fennel, geranium, salt, and shrimp shell reduction, all of which left my salivary glands pumping. The texture here is satiny and lush - seemingly almost thick - yet the overall effect is buoyant and infectiously juicy. Savor this versatile beauty through spring of 2014."
"Brigitte Poli - farming rugged granitic terrain at Corsica's arid northern tip - continues to offer wines of distinction that are also excellent values, and I regret not having yet been able to offer updated notes on her consistently fine whites and reds."
