Dark ruby color. Rich aromas of berry pie a la mode, chocolate mint, and cherry creme brulee with a supple, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a hint of herbs, eucalyptus and spiced cranberry on the long, fine tannin finish. Very classy and well made; serve with veal chops. (tasted on Sep-17-2013)

"Big and rather rustic, with raspberry and briary underbrush aromas that lead to ripe plum, sage and spicy caramel flavors. Drink now through 2016. 10,200 cases made. -TF"
