Product Description:
"A deep, saturated color leads to lifted aromas of blackberry, cocoa, and herby black-currant, followed by a rich, layered mouthfeel, loaded with juicy black cherry, cedar, and crème de cassis, and structured with ripe, mature tannins.
The 2010 vintage started with a cool and fairly wet spring that remained mostly frost free. late rains generated a healthy canopy, but one that required careful management to avoid green flavors. The cool spring evolved into an exceptionally cool summer, punctuated by a three day heat spike in August which reduced yields in many varieties, but generally spared Cabernet Sauvignon. September started out warm and continued into October, giving us the ripeness we were waiting for. We harvested the last of our Cabernet on October 28th under ideal conditions." -Winery
