"The 2009 Nuits St. Georges Les Chenes- Carteaux (from the southern part of the village) is a touch reduced at this stage, most likely owing to its recent bottling. It reveals a seamless personality. The fruit builds with notable intensity towards the persistent finish, where hints of tar, smoke, licorice and animal wrap around the close. The Chenes Carteaux was bottled mid-January 2011. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2027."
