Antonio Galloni - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The estate's 2004 Falerno del Massico Bronzo (80% Aglianico, 20% Piedirosso) reveals more intensity in its fruit, along with structure to match. This is a beautiful, seamless wine that delivers terrific richness in its dark fruit, along with notes of new leather, flowers and spices that add further complexity. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2019."
"I was delighted with the two wines I tasted from Masseria Felicia, a property located in Falerno, where wines inspired the Roman poets to sing their praises several thousand years ago. Masseria Felicia works predominantly with Aglianico and Piedirosso, two of Campania's thoroughbred grapes." (04/09)

"This dense red is packed with ripe dark plum, wild berry, licorice and leather flavors framed by firm tannins, but the fruit returns for the spice- and ash-tinged finish. Aglianico and Piedirosso. Drink now through 2018. 675 cases made. - NW" (10/11)

"The company is located at the foot of Mount Massico, Sessa Aurunca, we are in what the ancient Romans called Ager Falernus, this wonderful land that gives suolifertili, and that gives rise to the most famous wine of antiquity. The vineyards are in the hills at an altitude of about 200 meters above the sea level and reflect the favorable topography of the area."
"Cultivation of Aglianico, Piedirosso and Falanghina, to give birth naturally produced typical and to better respond to the invitation of a soil well suited, products which can remember the family tradition learned and convey an air of elapsed time. Grows lush a vineyard belonged always to our family and has dated age of fifty years. A Piedirosso old that keeps the scents primitive and enriching wine than typical territoriality and much sought after in our products. The vineyard is followed personally by Alexander, which controls the actions and pruning, harvesting by hand, after several thinnings, only when the grapes reach perfect maturity. The method "old" collection allows us to careful selection of plants and rows, to ensure that only the best grapes are fed into the tanks and deliver the final product the characteristics and qualities of the earth." - Winery
