It originates from the three valleys surrounding the winery, Remelluri, Valderremelluri and Villaescusa, which belong to the municipalities of Labastida (RIOJA ALAVESA) and Rivas de Tereso, hamlet that belongs to San Vicente de La Sonsierra (RIOJA ALTA). Since the Fourteenth Century, these areas have formed part of Granja Nuestra Senora de Remelluri, the first single-vineyard Rioja property to work with the classic Medoc-Bordeaux method." -Winery
