About

Ratings:

88-90

"Here the wood is a bit more evident though the liqueur-like black cherry fruit nose is sufficiently ripe and expressive that it stands up to it though it adds nothing of real interest. The extremely rich and round flavors are quite suave and mouth coating while culminating in a distinctly structured and thus very firm finish. This is a relatively big villages, particularly for a Chambolle and while this is definitely robust and impressively concentrated, it's not especially refined. Still, it will age and should make for a delicious and satisfying bottle in time."

90 Wine Spectator

"Expressive aromas and flavors of graphite, sandalwood, flowers and black cherry permeate this red. Features an elegant profile, with a long, silky finish that opens up with air. Best from 2015 through 2024. 3,240 cases made."
