About

"From the same winery as the dry Botani, the incredibly perfumed, floral 2011 Victoria No. 2 is a delicious dessert wine that possesses about 13% natural alcohol. Made from 100% Moscatel de Alexandria, 17 pounds of grapes are required to make one 375 ml bottle. This raisiny, rich, thick dessert wine's fragrance could fill a large room. This amazing creation should be served chilled at the end of a meal with nothing next to it. It should last for 6-10+ years." (10/12)

"Pale green-gold. Expressive aromas of pit fruits, candied ginger, honey, minerals and white flowers. Lush but clean and bright, with bracing acidity giving sharp definition to the complex flavors of honeyed peach, ginger and orange. Brisk, harmonious acids add bite to a lush, silky and intensely sweet finish." (09/12)

Product Description:

"Brilliant yellow hue. Fresh and intense, with a mix of sensations of freshly peeled apple, orange peel, bee pollen and aromatic herbs. Concentrated, fat but refreshing. Long finish."

"Victoria is made from a selection of old vineyards situated on the most elevated points of the municipality of Almachar. The harvest is done manually during the middle of August. Fermentation is carried out completely in stainless steel tanks and, as is characteristic of this type of wine, the alcohol is derived exclusively from fermentation of the grapes; this is done by cooling once the desired alcohol content has been reached."

"#2 Victoria is great with foie gras and cheese, especially strong cheeses with a lot of character. Also excellent with ice cream desserts and strawberries." - Winery
