"This is ripe enough to display the barest trace of exotic fruit along with primarily yellow orchard fruit and acacia blossom scents. There is excellent volume and while this isn't as opulent as the Macherelles, there is a seductive character to the mouth feel of the medium weight flavors. As with the Puligny villages, I very much like the sense of underlying tension as well as the intensity of the palate staining finish. The class and grace of a fine Puligny 1er is very much in evidence."
