"A mildly somber nose of lower register and distinctly ripe earthy wild red and blue berry and violet aromas that also evidence a hint of wood spice slide gracefully into velvety and relatively fine middle weight flavors that culminate in a velvety if ever-so-slightly woody finish. There is however so much sap that I suspect the wine will have no trouble successfully integrating the oak treatment with a few years in bottle."
