"This wine is sourced from two parcels, one planted in the 1930s and the other in the 1950s. The low dosage is possible because of the concentration and ripeness of the fruit, resulting in a sophisticated, balanced and rich wine with a lemon zest flavor, a tight, mineral texture, and a crisp finish. -R.V."
3 Peter Liem - Champagne Guide
"The creamy, waxy aromas of stone fruit and sweet corn on the nose are reminiscent of Chablis, showing ripeness and depth while feeling tightly focused and controlled. On the palate it shows a rich texture and a striking clarity of flavor, expanding with subtle dimension and graceful, elegantly fragrant length. While it has the body of the 2005, it feels cleaner and more precise, and its vivid interplay between chalky minerality and lively acidity gives it a brilliant tension and finesse. This is an outstanding version of Larmandier Cramant, and it should continue to improve for at least another five years, and probably longer. Last tasted: 3/11."
