"The 2008 Pinot Noir Sonoma Stage Vineyard (made from the Swan and Calera California selections) reveals a darker color than the Russian River Pinot in addition to abundant aromas of forest floor, boysenberries, black cherries, earth and licorice. Revealing sweet tannin, a big, rich mouthfeel and moderate structure, it should be even better in 2-3 years and evolve for 8-10.
From a partnership between Lesley Warren-Pierson and winemaker Robbie Meyer, these are all top-flight examples of hand-crafted reds and whites that are loaded with personality."
