"The husband and wife team of Pascal Roblet-Monnot and Cecile Tremblay (see below), run this interesting biodynamic 8.5 ha domaine where 5.5 of it is in the Cote de Beaune and the remaining 3 ha are in the Cote de Nuits; 2003 was the first vintage for the Tremblay side of the house. She will add several more appellations over the next 10 years including several more grands crus; when all of the vineyards are returned they will total 6 ha. The approach here is completely biodynamique and they will be certified as such soon. They believe in very dense plantings of 12,000 vines per hectare, manual harvesting, 85 to 90% destemming, 15 to 18 months of elevage in approximately one-third new oak barrels and bottling without fining or filtering." -Allen Meadows- Burghound
