"Finding 14+ year old Burgundy at $50 a bottle is a quite a difficult task; especially one that's drinking so beautifully right now. The nose is rustic and earthy at first, but with a little air time, quickly transforms in to a built forest floor, mushroom and smokey aroma, with subtle berry notes as well. The palate is has some of the carry over of earthy notes, mixed with raspberry, cranberry, acai and exotic spice notes. The palate is quite silky right now. Truly impressive, mature Burgundy."
