"Reticent but pure aroma of white peach, spring flowers and nuts. Densely packed and powerful; more muscular than the Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle but also shows excellent energy in the mouth. Very much a Batard from the Puligny side of this appellation. Finishes with a real whiplash of flavor, and a subtle suggestion of fern. Tighter today than the Morgeot, but should ultimately be the more impressive wine"
