We wouldn't have rated this wine ourselves if we hadn't tried it first. Robert Parker and the Wine Spectator both scored this wine 86 points, but we felt that this wine has blossomed and matured into what may be the best aged wine we have ever offered for the money. Wonderful dark berry fruits roll across the palates revealing fully matured nuances of tobacco, leather, and dusty, well integrated tannins. Medium to full bodied with good finish, this effort is fabulous now and will keep for another 4 to 5 years. This is a must have for the money!
