This might make all future Valentine's Day dinners seem pedestrian.

On Thursday February 12th, The House of Ruinart and Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen invite you to discover the oldest Champagne House in France. Guests will enjoy dinner complementing a rare champagne tasting experience featuring Ruinart Champagne and expert food pairings by Executive Chef Kevin Sippel.  The 4 course meal will be enhanced with the commentary of a special guest speaker, Lacey Burke, Brand Ambassador for Ruinart.

The Wine

Ruinart is the oldest of all the Champagne houses. Founded by Nicholas Ruinart in 1729, this storied producer is known for it's relatively low profile, and its distinctive, 18th-century-style bottle. Their Blanc de Blancs is among the best non-vintage Champagnes available, and their tête de cuvée, the 100% Chardonnay Dom Ruinart is one of the most exquisite wines in the world. If Chardonnay seems like a running theme here, you’re right. Ruinart is widely acknowledged to produce the most masterful expression of the Chardonnay grape in all of Champagne. Now it’s your turn to experience these legendary wines.

The Venue

Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen, located in Morristown, NJ's historic Vail Mansion, is the latest visionary project from veteran NY restaurateur Chris Cannon. It was most recently named one of the top 20 new restaurants by NJ monthly
