Jean Marc VIncent is a family run winery in the heart of Santenay, a Southern Cote de Beaune appellation of Burgundy. His Cru Montagny is an extremely small production with only one barrel being produced. The vineyard where these Chardonnay grapes are sourced from is only .47 hectares (1.16 acres). The grapes are all hand picked over multiple walk through to make sure each and every grape is picked at peak ripeness. The clay and limestone soils that he prefers his grapes to grow in is the minerality backbone that drives this wine.
