This Pinot Noir deal is the deal of the season, and it's a year in the making. Last year, we reached out to this Burgundy estate, one that has garnered much respect around the world. Finally, we are able to deliver to you an amazing deal on the Pinot Noir we'll be enjoying with hot dogs and burgers all summer long... and probably with our Thanksgiving turkeys, too.

One of the better $19.99 wine offers we have had in a long time at Wine Library

Bottom line, this is a wine that Master Somms, wine lovers, and wine newbies can enjoy everyday. It has been highly reviewed by entire team here at Wine Library ...as well as our very own Gary Vee and a Decanter tasting panel. Offering up $35-$45, 90-point quality at just $19.99 per bottle, this is one hot-ticket item.

This phenomenal Pinot Noir seriously overdelivers: red fruit, rusticity, the bit of dried leaf earthiness at the end that makes it old world....but no so much that it can't be the perfect intro to Burgundy. The tannins are soft and silky, making this wine dangerously drinkable for a Tuesday night.

Burgundy is undeniably one wine region with suffering severe price inflation. We admit, it can be  a hard aisle in which to find good value. Still, we diehards can't get enough of our Pinot, so we indulge. But even Master Sommelier Gearoid Devaney won't "pull the cork on a Chambolle premier cru" everyday. Wines like this, at that "sweet spot" $19.99 price point, these are the wines some master somms drink at home.

It may be a "humble," "lowly" Bougogne Rouge, but it is made by a great producer like Domaine de Santenay. These wines offer the greatest values for everyday drinking and entertaining.

"In the right hands, Bourgogne Rouge can be a source of delightful, refined and characterful wines." Decanter
-- This is exactly what we find here.

The 2012 vintage yielded wines that show "good acidity, purity and elegant tannins," says Decanter. Good, because that's exactly what we want in our ultimate all-the-time Pinot Noir.

Of 58 Bourgogne Rouges from the "elegant" 2012 vintage, this was only one of 3 to come highly recommended, earning a respectable 90 point score and this review
"Sweet, delicate raspberry nose, with a hint of oak. Medium-bodied, sleek and textured, with plenty of fruit and moderate acidity. A long finish to a Pinot Noir with typicity and fruit for the future. Drink 2014-2018."

Bottom line, this is big time Pinot Noir for every fan on this list.
--- It is almost impossible to find Pinot this good ... at this price.

100% through and through this is pure, perfectly priced Pinot Noir. Impress your guests with your fine taste in wines without breaking the bank. Satisfy your Burgundy cravings without going over your wine allowance. Stash a bottle away for Thanksgiving turkey (and make sure no one else knows where you hid it).

This is the ultimate all-the-time wine, from midweek meals to barbecues. Top a burger with bacon or mushrooms. Make coq au vin or boeuf bourguignon with your mad home chef skills. Bring a bottle to your local BYOB restaurant because no matter what folks around the table order, this will go with everything (except maybe vanilla ice cream...but even then we tilt our heads and wonder).

Flavorful and characterful and versatile all at once - this is a life-of-the-party type of Pinot Noir!

Bottom line - This Bourgogne offers intense flavors, smooth tannins, and extreme versatility. We have a feeling this will be a repeat buy all year long.
