As many of you know already, Robert Parker recently retired. As we write this email, to all of you, we reflect back on our early days in the wine business, reading reviews and comments issued by Parker.

"An intriguing blend of 37% Zinfandel, 32% Syrah and 31% Petite Sirah aged in a combination of French and American oak (75% new) for 20 months, the 2012 Proprietary Red Mountain Red Monte Rosso Vineyard is superb. Abundant aromas and flavors of licorice, incense, camphor, black cherries and blackcurrants are found in this full-bodied red. Its luxurious richness conceals most of the tannic structure. This big, mountain-styled 2012 exhibits tremendous upside. Give it several more years of bottle age and drink it over the following 15+ years."
