Some producers of whiskey claim that between 10 and 12 years old is a real sweet spot for aging and this bourbon does a lot to substantiate that. The mix of the sweet wheat and the smoky scotch makes this release exceptionally well rounded. The only fault that I could find was that it lacked EVER-SO slightly (emphasis here on the ever-so) in the mid-palate and that is what kept me from giving it a full perfect score. If you have a chance to purchase this rare release, I highly recommend it. 4.5 stars
