2012 Chateau Quinault Lenclos
92 Wine Enthusiast
This vineyard is a small enclave of vines surrounded by the city of Libourne. Now made by the Cheval Blanc wine team, it shows great style and richness. Attractive tannins and acidity are integrated into the rounded blackberry fruits. It's a wine for medium-term aging, so drink from 2017. — Roger Voss

The 2012 Quinault L'Enclos is a forward, open-knit wine with considerable near and medium-term appeal. Sweet tobacco, spices, blood orange, white pepper, crushed flowers and plums meld together in the 2012 Quinault L'Enclos. Sexy, radiant and supple, the 2012 is quite open today. The pliant, creamy finish adds to an overall impression of finesse. This is a gorgeous 2012.

A fine and complex wine with walnuts, berries and coffee beans. Full to medium body, firm and fine tannins and a tangy finish. Stones and other minerals. This needs a year or two to soften.
90 Jeff Leve - The Wine Cellar Insider
Round, supple and ripe, open, forward, with a sweet, ripe, red cherry licorice, with a slightly dusty quality to the tannins in the finish
