"The 2007 Le Bouchet demi-sec from Domaine Chidaine is the top Vouvray in the lineup this year and is an absolutely stellar bottle of wine. The deep and classy nose soars from the glass in a blend of quince, apple, pineapple, chalky soil tones, dried flowers, honeycomb, a touch of fresh rosemary and an esthery topnote of bee pollen. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep, crisp and complex, with a rock solid core of fruit, a nice glaze of sweetness, wonderful elegance and great cut and grip on the very long finish. A superb bottle. 2014-2050."
