From the Critics:

  • "Here’s a wine that speaks to Koutsi, the high plateau in Nemea where it grows. Minty herbal scents surround the red cherry fruit, lending it freshness and lift; the tannins feel tense in their leanness, just as the earth notes imbue the wine with a cool firmness. It’s spicy and a little wild, a red to drink now with a roast pork shoulder or to let mellow in the cellar." - 91 Pts Wine & Spirits
  • "The 2010 Nemea is Agiorgitiko – labeled and named differently to differentiate it from the entry level, just as the winery does with the Moschofileros. Both of the reds are still Nemea appellation Agiorgitiko, though. This one comes in at a somewhat higher 13.5% alcohol and spent 12 months in oak. It is quite lovely, elegant in the mid-palate, crisp and nicely textured, with a serious backbone. This bright wine, with nice flavor, an earthy note here and there and that nice structure, doesn’t seem particularly fleshy or sweet. Most Agiorgitikos won’t be big and fleshy. A Burgundy lover might appreciate it for its elegance and crispness, though. It should improve with more cellaring. Drink now-2020." - 90 Pts Mark Squires - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
