"Loaded with kirsch and cherry flavors and then it explodes on the mid palette and finishes with the silky smoothness of a $30 bottle of wine. The 2004 Razon is a new world driven wine but what a thrill it is, easily one of the finest bargains I have ever tasted. This wine has some gammy, leather, venison flavors and really pops after 2 hours of decanting. Right out the bottle it can be funky(though I like that)"-Gary Vaynerchuk

" Made from old vines Garnacha grapes (70+ years old), grown just outside the official Rioja denomination. The extra-ripe grapes were left on the vines after the main harvest, and then harvested by hand after they were partially dehydrated. The carefully selected grapes were then fermented on the skins for about three/four weeks, after which time they were racked into a mix of American and French oak for 6 months ageing before being bottled.
