"Not at all atypical of the genuine article from the Loire Valley, you can pick up a strong impression of pear, key lime and quince, the latter two also suggested in the subliminal and pleasing astringency on the back palate. There is also a faint though undeniable briny or salty quality found here, perhaps a subtle cue that a half dozen oysters might due one some good. Undoubtedly a fine accompaniment to all manner of shell and no-so-shellfish, this wine will also send a chevre and the goat it rode in on - and for that matter most mild cheeses - into and beyond the realm of the senses." -Winery
