"Bodegas Itsas Mendi (the name is Basque for "Sea and Mountain") is a multitude of vineyards totaling 67.5 acres first planted in 1989. It is located in the Basque DO of Bizkaiko Txakolina overlooking the Bay of Biscay, not far from the city of Bilbao.

"This wine is made from a selection of Hondarrabi Zuri and Riesling grapes. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine remains on its lees in the tank for at least 10 months before bottling.
