"Siduri, named after the Babylonian Goddess of wine, is the realized goal of Dianna and Adam Lee. Dianna and Adam produced a small quantity of Pinot Noir from the 1994 vintage and met with great critical success which led Siduri to search for additional high quality Pinot Noir grapes. Siduri now produces Pinot Noir from vineyards as far north as Oregon's Willamette Valley and as far south as Santa Barbara County's Santa Rita Hills. Adam and Dianna believe that great wine is made in the vineyard; only with great grapes can great wines be produced. To this end, the majority of grapes are purchased by the acre rather than by the ton. In addition, they are staunch believers in a minimal intervention approach to winemaking." -Winery
